So I made it to the CCM safely, although it was a little nerve wracking at first. It got a lot better when I landed in Dallas since I saw a couple of young men wearing suits and girls wearing long skirts all gathered together. One of the sisters that I met there ended up being my companion! Her name's Hermana Laycock and she seems really fun.
One of the sisters that I met had an immediate missionary experience on the flight to La Ciudad de Mexico. The person she sat next to started asking her all sorts of questions about the church and how to pray. It was really cool! Just in case you´re wondering mom, I did talk to someone on the plane; the lady brought her cat with her and she was so cute! She was only a few years old and was still really dependent. We only really talked about her cat though.
Mexico is definitely a lot different from America. It looks a lot like the pictures of Brazil that Adam sent us. And the driving is super sketchy. I thought we were going to crash a few times tonight.
I haven´t taken any pictures yet. I´ll have some taken tomorrow.
Just a few things you should probably know: first of all, my pday is Wednesday. Second, my carry-on was too big so they had to stow it away. I guess it got left in Dallas. I´ll probably be fine until tomorrow though, the sisters I met said they would help me out with things I'm missing.
